Occupational Highlights

• Some of of my interests are in DevOps, business information systems, Internet operations, project management and process development.
• I have now shifted back to Consulting after spending five years working at Amazon Lab126 doing computer infrastructure in a secure DevOps environment.
• For several years I did consulting and contracting work is focused on Linux server operations and application administration for a Unified Communications service.
• I worked at Sun Microsystems for over 10 years developing information solutions using a variety of tools, relational databases and languages including C, SQL, various Unix shells, Sybase, and Oracle as well as web infrastructure. My early work at Sun was in statistical process control, quality control and manufacturing applications. The last activity was in technical support of their main Java Technology website http://java.sun.com. I was part of the Internet Operations infrastructure team for the website. Note that after I left Sun was acquired by Oracle.
• Currently I am fully booked and not looking for new clients or projects.
